A long standing club and institute of the Northern Suburbs, the Narangba Crows has over a span of almost 20 years fostered the development of hundreds of young Aussie Rules footy players. Our main aim since entering the competition in 2003 has been to ensure we create a family friendly environment focused on fun, safe play and team work. An aim we still strive towards today. Born from the vision of a few footy mad and dedicated parents plus with the help of AFL Queensland, Aussie Rules in Narangba entered the AFL Brisbane Juniors competition with an Aus Kick team in 2003. In our first year a team of 11 under 8’s played under a joint name with the Redcliffe AFC. Playing at the baseball fields at the Narangba Sports and Recreation facilities, it soon became clear that Narangba and surrounding suburbs would benefit from its very own club. With that the Narangba Australian Football Club (NAFC) was born! The following year our Club continued to grow with the inclusion of an Under 10’s team.

Now heading into the 2004 season with Under 8’s, 9’s and 10’s we needed a larger capacity training and playing space. Heading over to Narangba Valley State High School. Not surprisingly the following year our numbers rose again and to our AFL program further we introduced an Umpire mentoring program. This program was designed to assist new and young Umpires gain the confidence and skills to effectively umpire AFL games. Over the next decade we moved to our current home, officially known as Findlay Street Sports Reserve but to our Club, fondly known as The Nest. We also launched into Youth Football as part of the AFL Brisbane Juniors competition with Under 14’s and Under 16’s, won multiple Premierships; including our inaugural Premiership in 2007 with our Under 12’s team.
